*** OMD's grooming business has been booming, so we now have another groomer, Ivan! We are so lucky to have him, he has been a groomer for 11 years and worked with Susan for 6 of those years. | Artwalk the Line
 As many of you know Old Town Scottsdale host's Art Walk the Line every Thursday night. The Artwalk is through Old Town and all the galleries open up and let people (and their pets) come in and view the art. This Thursday, April 29th, I would love for you to join me, with your pups, and walk through the Art Walk and end at a new restaurant,  , to enjoy some cocktails and appetizers at an event they are hosting. The event is a launch for Spafinder.com and their will be free manicures, massages and treats for pups at the event. There is a $10 donation at the door which proceeds go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. They have personally invited OMD and all of our customers!

This is a fabulous event that will be filled with entertainment for a good cause. All proceeds benefit the thousands of homeless pets at the Arizona Humane Society. There are 1,000 exclusive seats available ranging from tables to single seats.

8th Annual Police K9 Trials
The Arizona Law Enforcement Canine Association, in partnership with the Scottsdale, Mesa & Phoenix Police Departments, would like to invite you to attend the DESERT DOG POLICE K-9 TRIALS, that will be held at the newly renovated Scottsdale Stadium, on April 17th & 18th, 2010.
During the weekend events, you will be able to observe many active Police, Military, Government and Security canine teams from around the nation competing in various field exercises.
The events that the teams will be competing in include, Handler Protection, Tactical Building Search, Building Search, Agility / Obstacle course, Area Search, Narcotics and Explosives Search.

*OMD is purchasing tables for our clients who volunteer to participate in the show (PLEASE WE NEED YOUR MODEL PUP's!!) and your tickets will be $50 and you can purchase them through Oh My Dog. Doga at W Scottsdale
Who: Oh My Dog! & W Scottsdale
What: Doga, Yoga for your dog! Dena Zell, certified yoga instructor, has incorporated some fun workouts and stretches for you to do with your dog. So come, bring your mat and your pooch and enjoy some relaxing bonding time with your dog. Anyone and any dog can do it!
When: The first WEDNESDAY of every month. We are extending it into the new year! Class starts at 7pm and doggie social time is at 6:30pm.

What: A yappy/ happy hour with your dog. There will be beer for the humans and beer for the dogs!

Join Oh My Dog & W Scottsdale as you mingle with singles during an afternoon mixer. Indulge in Sprinkles Cupcakes and Poodle Pina Coladas, while your pooch indulges in frozen yogurt treats and cookies. Cocktail proceeds will benefit Lost Our Home Pet Foundation, which will be onsite with some great pups available for adoption. All dogs are welcome, so grad your furry friend and join the fun!

March 13th: Disney Dog Tour
* Oh My Dog was invited by Walt Disney to come and help promote the release of Beverly Hills Chihuahua at the Wesley Bolin Plaza, in downtown Phoenix, tomorrow from 12:00 to 3:00. People are invited to bring their dogs "camera ready" to walk them down the runway and audition for the next Disney dog movie. We were the only boutique who was invited, so come down, bring your dogs, and stop on by!

March 28th: Anesthesia-Free Teeth Cleaning.

* Oh My Dog is offering Free Pawdicures and the W's Bliss spa is offering free hand massages! Come with your dog, relax, enjoy music and complimentary spritzers while you and your pooch get pampered! There will also be a Doga and Stretching going on at the event.

Where: Meeting at OMD at 6:30 and then Dinner at Digestif Restaurant Patio (right by OMD)
What: Digestif is creating a special menu for a Valentines dinner with your dog! While the Green Bone Bakery is having a special dinner made for the dogs to enjoy! For a reservation all you need to do is pay for your doggies dinner by Saturday February 14th.
The Doggy Menu: 10$ per Dog
Yappetizer: For the Love of Cheese Puffs (Organic whole wheat flour, skim milk, cheddar cheese and honey)
Entree: Cluck! Cluck Luv Casserole & Mashed sweet Potatoes (Fresh chicken, wild rice, carrots, peas, green beans and Parmesan cheese)
Dogserrt: I Ruff U Tart (Savory tart, yogurt, buttermilk frosting and carob heart candy)
Human Menu: $25 per person

After Angel got her OMD Ruffs to Riches makeover (Thank you Ivan for her groom) we had her checked out by our vet. Nothing too serious but she had kidney stones so Sabrina took her home and nursed her back to health.
